No printer listed. 2.75 x 2.25", light grey and cream. Light soiling and creasing, tiny nick on one side, partial contemporary ink name else good condition. The Normal School was founded in 1849, dedicated in 1852 and opened in 1853. It was the first teachers' training school west of the Allegheny Mountains. The structure was totally destroyed by fire on October 28, 1859 and later rebuilt. The Normal School eventually became Eastern Michigan University.
