Issued and copyrighted by The Evening News Association, Detroit, Mich. Illus. including 10/11 color plates, oblong 8.5 x 11.5", blue buckram, gilt lettering on spine, unpaginated. Ex-newspaper library, covers worn with light spotting, spine torn and frayed, approximately the first 1/4 of the book has loose/detached plates and tissue guards, chipping, small tears, occasional smudging and fingerprints else contents clean and in good condition. Lacks the plate "The City Of Homes", the plates show the riverfront, Campus Martius and the old City Hall, Belle Isle, Central High School (now Wayne State's Old Main), Palmer Park, Waterworks Park. The last three plates and the remainder of the book deal exclusively with The Evening News Association which published "The Detroit News." There is a history of the company, floor plans of their building, photos of the management including general manager George G. Booth who writes about the newspaper company's circulation. Very SCARCE in any condition, only one other copy has been located. SWAF.
