12 x 7.5", cloth, 152pp. Covers worn and soiled, inner hinges tender, paper label on spine, pages have soiling and small tears else good condition. Every page filled in. This is a record of the runs listing badge numbers, trucks, engines etc. There are no details on the causes of the fires. Since this log is from the Central Office it covers all the neighborhoods: Downtown, Corktown, Southwest, near West and near East sides. Some of the businesses who received a visit: Race Track/Detroit Driving Club, Packard, Rickel Malt, Electric Park, Lafayette Theatre, D.U.R. barn, Detroit Brewing Co., Morgan & Wright Rubber. Also, the department responded to the steamer "City of Cleveland" which was docked at the foot of Orleans. Other fires: dumps, sidewalks, marshes, railroad cars, barges, shanties, asphalt. Interesting, SCARCE.
