12 x 7.5", cloth, 200pp. Covers worn and stained, paper label on spine, inner hinges cracked, pages have occasional soiling else good to very good condition. Every page filled in. This is a record of the runs listing badge numbers, trucks, engines etc. There are no details on the causes of the fires. Since this log is from the Central Office it covers all the neighborhoods: Downtown, Corktown, Southwest, near West and near East sides. Some of the businesses who received a visit: American Car & Foundry, Detroit White Lead Works, Parke Davis, Detroit Stove Works, Temple Beth-El, Central Lumber, Ph Kling Brewing, Grand Trunk slip dock, Edgemere Boat Club. Other fires: bonfires, rubbish, brush, streetcars, automobiles, railroad cars, shanties, tar kettles. Interesting, SCARCE.
