No publisher/photographer listed. 3.5 x 5.5", postally used, light soiling and creasing else good condition. Visible are Dr. Sailor's Veterinary business and a Minneapolis Saint Paul rail car. Myrtle writes from Wabash on May 9, 1913 to her friend Mrs. C.H. Thomas in Hiram, Ohio "Here is a view of the flood in Wabash. It did not reach us as we are over a mile from this place." The rest of the message is generic. The Great Flood of 1913 occurred March 23-26 when rivers flowed over their banks after several days of heavy rain and caused hundreds of deaths in thirteen states. The death toll was second to the 1889 Johnstown Flood.
