3.5 x 5.5". One photo removed from an album. Pencil notes (relating to the image) on the back of a few photos/postcards, a handful of the postcards have postmarks (one of which has soiling on the reverse), slight curling else very good condition. A couple of duplicates. The images are from a naval officer stationed in Samoa, assigned to the U.S.S. Fortune. There are views: of the ship, one view of the U.S.S. Kansas, a fourth of July celebration, Tutuila, Pago Pago, Samoa Hospital, Captiol Building, Seva Seva dance, school boys drilling in front of the barracks, street scenes, the wireless towers, Samoan house under construction, net fishing, various images of the residents and so on.
