A Scrapbook of Newspaper Clippings kept by Alfred Niezychowski, an Officer Aboard the German Raider Kronprinz Wilhelm Just Before World War I

14 x 11", orange wraps, (32)pp, covers very worn and soiled with an old price, with a bold Alfred Niezychowski signature across front cover (and his Neff Road address stamps), newspaper clippings are in German and (mostly) English, browned with some glue stains, some toning. The clippings are all contemporary to the 1915 arrival of the German raider Kronprinz Wilhelm, of which Niezychowski was an officer. Niezychowski later moved to Grosse Pointe, Michigan where he sold real estate and even dabbled in politics. Unique.
