Plate is 8 x 7", overall 10 x 8", dry mounted on stiff cardboard. Print is toned with light soiling, comes with toned and soiled mat, 18 x 14". This three quarter portrait needs to be rescued. Most likely done not long after Hardy was awarded the O.M. (Order of Merit) in 1910. Written in pencil below one corner of image "Thomas Hardy O.M." and below the other corner "Alfred J. Bennett". Toned, but still attractive. Sold as is.
