Oblong 2.5 x 4". Approximately 1.5 x .5" piece chipped off the front bottom edge, four small shiny spots on the photo, backing paper soiled else good to very good condition. Haak Lumber Company, founder of Haakwood, Michigan, was a very prosperous lumbering operation comprised of several thousand acres with saw, planing and flooring mills, a large warehouse and employee housing. It was totally destroyed by a fire in 1904 and the company eventually moved its home base to Portland, Oregon. Haak Lumber Company was in Mentor Township, Cheboygan County. Haak and Haakwood memorabilia is extremely SCARCE.
