Two items from Detroit's Majestic Building: A teaspoon stamped "Majestic" and a Color postcard dated 1910

Detroit, 1910 (postcard). Item #99-3937

Teaspoon 6", Stearnes Service, postcard 3.5 x 5.5". Teaspoon scratched and rubbed else good, postcard postally used, light wear and soiling else good. Message on the back: "I think Detroit is a nice place. We are having a fine time." The Majestic Building was built in 1896 and was Detroit's second skyscraper. It eventually fell out of favor and was torn down in 1962 and replaced by the First Federal Savings and Loan. Sold as a pair.
