3.5 x 2.5", dark red and white on the front showing one of their jets and on the reverse in grey, white, and dark red is the calendar. Rubbing, light wear else good to very good condition. Capital Airlines started up in 1926 with passenger service beginning in 1928. A change of ownership two years later resulted in a new name, Pennsylvania Airlines and then Pennsylvania Central Airlines. In 1948, it resumed its old name, Capital Airlines, and during that year became the airline to offer inflight television. Labor and financial problems over the years resulted in a merger with United Airlines in 1961.
