37 mm (approx 1.5") in diameter, with obverse showing the Energia on the launch pad, reverse with Cyrillic "Medallion minted from metal from the Energia rocket" with stars in the sky and three tulips below; in nice condition in velvet string-tied bag, with printed information card. The Energia was the rocket system that launched the Buran space shuttle; the system was discontinued with the fall of the Soviet Union. Lightweight, weighs less tha 0.2 ounces.
