Color, 3.5 x 5.5". Postally used, date stamped Aug. 3, 1915. Light creasing, soiling, and rubbing. Message doesn't relate to the race, just family talk. Shows two sets of grandstands to the left, track full of race cars, drivers and other people mingling and people on the right standing behind a fence. Ralph DePalma was the winner of the fifth Indianapolis 500. Pilot and automotive pioneer Eddie Rickenbacker finished nineteenth, he would later buy the racetrack in 1927. SCARCE.
