18th Century Manuscript Vellum Diploma from the University of Vienna (Vindobonensis)

Vienna, May 1, 1791. Item #99-3077

One vellum leaf, oblong 15 x 24", written in italic script, black ink, 10 lines plus subscriptions by the Rector, Dean and Notary of the Faculty, with red wax seal of the university in a round, two-piece wooden case attached to diploma with braided silk cord; diploma is soiled and folded else a nicely preserved piece. Gregorius Gruber receives a Doctorate in Philosophy.
