20 x 8 b&w photo of a smiling (barely) Eisenhower, photo by Fabian Bachrach (with silver stamped id at bottom right corner of image, affixed to mat, and framed to 15 x 11.5, in simple black-painted wooden frame, not examined out of frame, but looks nice; INSCRIBED "For F.C. Copeland, with best wished from . . . " AND SIGNED BY DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER. Included is the beginning of a typed note on White House letterhead, dated October 6, 1956, and addressed "Dear Mr. Copeland:". Unfortunately, the rest of the note is missing, and this part has glue stains and adhesion marks at edge. The item has a stamp on rear from a San Francisco frame shop.
