Size ranges between 8 x 5.25 to 8.25 x 5.5. Overall: creasing, fold creases, soiling, toning, edge tears, removal marks, two are lacking corners, one has a cello tape repair, chipping, pencil/ink numbers on back of two posters, Higgins' photograph light. At bottom of Garvin's wanted poster is a handwritten note "This is the party we spoke to you about. Hennessey and Browning." The names of Hennessey and Browing appear in the 1884 Mayor's Report as arresting officers for various criminals. The lengthiest description is that of Geo. W. Milkman's. In part: "An American Jew . . . Has very pronounced Jewish features: large Roman nose. . . He dresses in the height of style; wears considerable jewelry . . . He frequents houses of ill fame . . .may be found about hotels . . . He swindled a gentleman in this city out of a small amount, who would like to see him on general principles." Items are fragile and are sold as is. Sold as a lot only. Scarce.
