Wood (pine?) frame 18.5 x 15, glass, lithograph 15 x 11. Frame is darkened with cracks, nicks, scratches, etc., paper backing torn and missing pieces, lithograph is soiled with some scattered spotting, small hole in left margin, contemporary name stamps of Samuel Arnold, loose in frame, sunned, not examined out of frame. Lewis Cass was defeated by Zachary Taylor who won both the popular vote and the electoral college. Scarce Lewis Cass/presidential ephemera.
