Medal "Cog Veri Nos Ta Cetis Tem" of the Catholic Students Mission Crusade.

2" gilt colored metal in a sunburst pattern, gilt and enamel circle on top with a red and gilt pattern, red/white/blue shield with a gilt colored book on top which has the words "Cog Veri Nos Ta Cetis Tem," attached to the medal are two purple velvet ribbons, with original dark green box 6 x 3.25 with a purple velvet lining in bottom. Medal has light wear, scratches on the back, velvet has light wea and small bit of sunning where it attaches to the medal else very good, box is fair/poor, missing pieces, torn, etc., and velvet is very sunned. Written inside the box lid "Received the degree Paladin Leader at Sacred Heart Seminary II College" and stamped "April 21 1928 T.J. Collins." Pasted below is a typewritten note giving instructions on how the "decoration" should be worn. Loose inside the box are two printed cards dated June 1931 and June 1932 that "Thomas J. Collins is a member of the Catholic Students' Mission Crusade" amd written at the bottom of one "Mt. St. Mary Seminary First Theology 1930-31" and the other the same except "Second Theology 1931-32." The seminarians were among the founders of the Students' Crusade in Illinois in 1918, the object of which was to promote the interest of home and foreign missions. A total of four pieces. Scarce, especially with box.
