Large paper document, 12 x 15.5, colored with gold seal over silk ribbon at lower left, printed UN symbol in lower right corner, some wear and toning, small brown stains in left margin, tiny edge tears, was rolled else good. Lt. Col. Jack T. Shannon, as Commanding Officer, Army Psychological Warfare Detachment, ". . . displayed a broad and comprehensive knowledge of the principles and objectives of Psychological Warfare. . ." Presented at Tokyo on November 11, 1955, SIGNED AT BOTTOM BY COL. WM. R. ROBINETTE. Never seen one of these before! "Mad" Jack Shannon, formerly of the OSS, was famous for the motto "Anything, anytime, anyplace, anyhow!" when he commanded the 10th Special Forces Group, the Green Berets.
