Printed Invitation to the Celebration of the Debut of Jefferson Starship's album "Earth."

Printed card 6 x 3.5, with gilt earth with Chinese characters and Starship name on one side, particulars of party on reverse: 2400 Fulton Street, San Francisco, Saturday, Feb. 25, 5 p.m., etc; good condition, with ink name at top ("Nancy Sutton"); original mailing envelope addressed in same hand to Sutton at Tower Records in Campbell, California, envelope roughly opened and torn, with stamped return address from RCA Records on Kansas Street in San Francisco. "Earth" had debuted earlier in the month, with the hit singles "Count on Me" and "Runaway," both sung by the great Marty Balin. Sutton had been the singles buyer for the Tower Records chain, and had managed the long-forgotten Bay-area group China Cat.
