History of the Booth American Company, founded in 1939 (by the Booth Newspaper family, who also founded Cranbrook), which ran several radio stations an local cable companies in Michigan and beyond. WITH SHORT, HANDWRITTEN NOTE PAPER CLIPPED INSIDE FRONT COVER FROM "JACK" (John Lord Booth), TO "IRV" dated June 16, 1981, presenting this booklet. "Irv" was Irving Book, son of one of the famed Book Brothers, who built a good portion of the buildings surrounding Washington Blvd (including the Book Cadillac Hotel) in downtown Detroit.
