Illustr, portraits, 11.5 x 9, full embossed leather, aeg, 728 pp in double columns, covers worn, extremities bumped and fraying, spine abraded, front outer hinge split, hinges loose, ink name of former owner on front blank, contents toned, some stray finger marks in margins but still a good, usable copy (that could be easily saved by a competent book binder). Mostly a mug book, with portraits and biographies of such famous Detroiters as Russell A. Alger, Zachariah Chandler, Edwin Denby, etc.
