Ads, illustr, 14 x 11, gilt lettered leather, vp, covers rubbed, extremities worn, ex-lib with ink number on spine, bookplate and inkstamp, contents good with some glue-failure between leaves. Campbell-Ewald, a venerable Detroit advertising firm (still in existence, pushing Cadillacs now), put together a small number of these books for presentation to GM executives; this copy with printed presentation page has recipient's name blank, though it states that there were only 15 GM execs to receive this. Fortune Magazine articles with articles on General Motors from 1930-1938; pages not concerning GM were glued together. Pencil note inside front cover states that this is a "Gift of Mr. Ewald." Scarce.
