Album is oblong 10.5 x 14, padded green cloth with gilt trim, 26 pages with cutouts for the photos (13 are empty) and photo information, photos vary in size: 4.5 x 2.5, 1.75 x 2.5, 2.5 x 3.5, 5.25 x 3.25, and one 8 x 10. Covers have soiling and spotting, edgewear, corners and spine tips bumped and worn, light wear to pages, front inner hinge a little tender, 3 photos lacking from endpaper, largest photo has light staining in margin else photos are very good, clear and sharp. Unknown French family has labeled the locations and occasionally the names of their family and friends. The photos of this family of adults reflect a relaxed family vacation: pets, lots of beach scenes, eating outdoors, mugging for the camera, street scenes, mountains and the countryside.
