Fourteen double page hand colored engaved maps, 13.5 x 8.5, marbled boards with printed paper label and leather spine. Disbound, covers crudely reattached with string, covers very well worn, peeling, stained, creased, label creased and spotted with light contemporary ink notes in small hand, spine defective, lacks free front endpaper, pastedowns, title page and endpaper heavily stained and spotted, contemporary ink name of the first (?) owner, Charles Hall, Canandaigua, Ontario (Ontario County, NY), light pencil notes on rear pastedown. Condition of maps: scattered foxing/spotting, light soiling, small tear in margins of some of the maps, approx 2" tear starting from the margin along the center crease of the United States and West Indies maps, light creasing, last map has two tiny holes in its margins, overall condition good. "Seventh edition, revised and corrected." Scarce.
