9 x 6, printed stapled wraps, (29)pp, 56 pp, 48 pp. ex-lib, front covers detached for 1886 and one issue of 1887, wraps are brittle, chipped, small tears, soiling, toning, rear cover of 1895 missing a couple small pieces, contents have occasional toning and creasing else good. From the 1887 issue: "The Michigan Club is one of the youngest political organizations in this country. It grew out of a desire manifested by republicans everywhere in he State to secure some system of perfect organization for party work." Some of the members: Alger, Bagley, Buhl, Butzel, Ferry, Farnsworth, Hecker, Joy, Mc Millan, Pingree, Scripss, Vernor. Of the most noted speakers to address this club was Gov. Wm. McKinley of Ohio in 1895. Fragile, sold as is. A total of four issues, including one duplicate. Sold as a lot.
