Oblong 6.25 x 8, no photog's name or identifying notes. Lightly curled, light creasing, minimal wear to corners else good/very good. In the background is a butcher's counter that runs from one end of the store to the other, behind the counter are three butchers and literally a wall of meat. Hanging from the center of a decorative tin ceiling is the sign "C.E. Schmidt Meats." In the foreground is another counter, this one with fresh, smoked and canned fish, sausages and bottles of condiments. In 1904, Schmidt's was located at 310 O'Farrell St. in San Francisco. A very detailed and interesting photograph.
