Original Photograph of a Mack bus, small sign in front side window "Highland Park Motor Coach 1925, #93" with sign below that reads "Ferndale Royal Oak Clawson," bus is full of passengers and parked in front of an unnamed factory building in Highland Park

Highland Park, Michigan. 1925. Item #98-5314

8 x 10, no photog listed, on the lower right corner of each photo is a series of numbers and a date, two are dated Nov. 1925, and one is dated Nov. 17, 1925. Creasing, soiling, small tear, light spotting, light chipping else good. The factory has a sign over its door "Factory Entrance," but no other signs. According to our Ford reference (Mike Skinner) this is not Henry Ford's Highland Park plant. Chrysler had a plant in Highland Park but we cannot verify that it is their building. The photos dated Nov. 14 show the bus and the men posing in front of the bus, the Nov. 17 photo shows the same men but they are posing in front of the factory entrance and most are wearing a ribbon badge attached to their coats, lettering on ribbons are too blurry / far away to be legible. A total of three photos. Sold as a lot.
