Foreground shows a field of red, white and pink flowers, background are multiple greenhouses, a factory building and a few smaller structures. On the reverse: "Buckbee's New Seed and Plant Guide for 1912 is Ready Now -- It Is Free For the Asking . . . With an order of 50 cents of upwards from my 1912 Catalogue -- I will send you absolutely free the set of Six Beautiful Souvenir Post Cards. . ." The H.W. Buckbee Company, 1889-1937, had a 350,000 square foot warehouse and a 15,000 acre seed farm. This popular seed company, in the year of its founder's death, mailed out 750,000 catalogs.
