14 x 8.5, cloth, 206 pp. Worn, rubbed, soiled covers with gilt lettering "Corporation Record" on the front, inner hinges and text block cracked, soiling, glue stains, creasing, tears, offsetting. The ledger contains printed forms to be filled out by the purchaser, i.e., "By-Laws and Minutes of Stockholder's and Director's Meetings, General and Stockholder Ledger, Stock Transfer Record, Copy of Charter. Of the 206 pages only 60 have been filled in or have typed notices, etc. attached to them. Some of the contents: proxy notices, stock issuance, by laws, minutes of meetings, loan request, raise in pay for the company president. Officers of the company were Arthur Rosenthal, Hattie E. Rosenthal and Nathan Blumrosen. Included are the "Michigan Articles of Association" which indicate that the Rosenthal-Blumrosen Company, incorporated on January 28, 1921, was "to carry on the business of retail dealers in general merchandise and ladies wearing apparel." Also included is an unfilled-in stock certificate for 100 shares.
