12 x 20, photograph by San Remo Studios. Photo is rolled up, spotted, torn and creased else good with a clear, sharp image. The banquet appears to be in the ballroom with men in suits and ties sitting at tables arranged in a "U" shape. Detroit Delivery Inc., located at 2000 W. Fort, provided to Detroit merchants a delivery, package and trucking service. The Fort Shelby Hotel, as it was called, was built in 1916 and its architects were Garden & Martin and in 1927 an addition designed by Albert Kahn was erected. After being vacant for many years it has recently been renovated by the Doubletree Hotel chain, and business is again booming at this lovely establishment.
