7.25 x 5.25, gilt lettered cloth, 128 pp, covers worn and soiled with spots on front cover near bottom edge, hinges loose, contents darkened. WITH THE BOOKPLATE OF JOHN SCOTT BRADSTREET, INFLUENTIAL AMERICAN DESIGNER AND FOUNDER OF THE MINNEAPOLIS CRAFTHOUSE. Bradstreet was heavily influenced by his travels to Japan around the turn of the century. The bookplate even shows a Japanese influence, with one quadrant showing a rickshaw (another quadrant shows a car being driven over a cliff -- Bradstreet would be killed in an automobile accident in 1915!).
