Author's portrait, three b&w plates plus 21 colored plates, 14 x 10.5, rebound in buckram, 93 pp + plates, covers worn and soiled, front inner hinge cracked, rear hinge loose, title and author's portrait detached (but present) contents toned, prints lightly foxed but still nice, with inscription from a Charles Brongniart, along with ink name and date from previous owner. Scarce title. SWAF.
