Native American Clothed Child Carte-de-Visite Studio Portrait. Posing with a Sharps carbine on his lap and reclining against a buffalo (?) hide, most litkely Native American.

4.25 x 2.5, Faint abrasion on front, one corner lightly creased, very light soiling on reverse else very good/fine. Child is wearing a brimmed hat which is trimmed with a wide ribbon and a feather, two earrings on one ear (one of which is a tinkle ocne), other ear is hidden by his hand, sleeveless vest adorned with shells, a long sleeved shirt and leggings which are also decorated with shells. A very nice sharp image.
