Each 9 x 6.75, on The White House letterhead, folds, minor spotting to 8/23/58 note, major staining with staple and pencil notes to 1/7/59 note, but nice signatures (though stain goes through 1/7/59 note). In 8/23/58 note, Ike thanks Lafore for letter regarding an Area Redevelopment Bill. In 1/7/59 note, Ike says he's happy that Lafore will represent him at a ceremony at Benjamin Franklin's grave; the pencil note at bottom (signed PN?) is regarding a wreath from the White House for the ceremonies. Also included is a Typed Letter Signed from Robert L. Schultz, Military Aide to the President, 9.25 x .625, on The White House letterhead, toning, folds, paperclip stain, confirming arrangements for the wreath. The lot of TWO TYPED LETTERS SIGNED BY EISENHOWER AS PRESIDENT plus another note.
