7.5 x 9.5, light wear and creasing, tiny tear on lower edge else good. On the reverse is written in pencil "Brand Blvd. Glendale" and stamped "By C.C. Pierce & Co. Los Angeles, Calif." Shown is a busy downtown street: many cars, parked and in transit, shoppers visiting businesses such as The Owl Drug Co. and DL Green Hardware, people waiting for the approaching streetcar. Glendale, a suburb of Los Angeles, experienced rapid growth in the early part of the 20th c. due in part to the influx of people from the Midwest. This city is the "home" of Forest Lawn Memorial Park where many famous movie stars are buried.
