Illustr by Ernest Shepherd, 7.5 x 5.5, blue morocco "extra," gilt ruled, gilt stamped design on the covers, Johnson on the front cover, gilt stamped profile of Johnson surrounded by laurel leaves on the back cover, all edges gilt, blue and purple marbled endpapers sprinkled with gilt, 609 pp. Light wear/rubbing to covers, front cover is ever so lightly faded, light/moderate shelfwear to lower edges, faint scratch on front cover, corners have light/moderate wear, spine is faded (lighter than front cover but still attractive), light wear to spine tips and outer hinges, slight hinge crack starting, contents near fine. A very attractive binding. SIGNED RIVIERE BINDING.
