Bound with House Report No. 67, Returned Prisoners, 34pp + 4 pp of illustr of emaciated prisoners (8 illust total). In the Fort Pillow Massacre, Forrest's army massacred Union troops, incl a large number of former slaves who fought for the Union. Whether they had surrendered first or not is still questioned.
