A DISPUTE BETWEEN THE WOMAN AND THE POWERS OF DARKNESS.
np (The Panacea Society: UK), 1914. Item #97-3487
8.25 x 5.5, printed wraps, 128 pp, covers worn and edge chipped, contents thumbed but still good. A decent copy of Joanna Southcott's dialogue with Satan. Southcott was a late 18th and early 19th century British seer. Her box -- which contains messages on how to survive the coming bad times -- is still unopened: it requires 24 bishops of the Church of England to witness the opening, and to this date no one wants to cooperate.
