(Embassy 1966). 17 x 14", goache & ink on Head's illustration paper, light soiling/smudging, light creasing near corners, paper removed from a sketchbook. Sketches show Elke as "Kay Bergdahl" wearin different syles of evening attire, each bears Heads' costume notations in heavy grease pencil: "Kay #4 Cocoanut Grove scene 111" w/notes on costume, and "coctail coral & white". Attractive designs from one of Hollywood's great costume designers; she received an Academy Award nomination for her work on this film.
