INDENTURE BETWEEN TWO PENNSYLVANIANS REGARDING LAND IN 1771.

Philadelphia July 6, 1771. 17 x 29", nicely caligraphed on heavy paper, with two (of 3?) wax seals at bottom, spotted & toned, edge-worn, stain at bottom corner, irregularly cut at top (as always with indentures) else nice. Lots of early American-legaliese, agreement between James Kenny, a "Cordwainer" and his wife, and John Carman, a Goldsmith & Jeweller, for 227+ acres of land. Signed by Kenny, witnesses (stained here) and recorded by one John Lawrence.
