Macon Twp 1863. 17 x 14", creasing from folds, light wear, faint stains, edge-tears, couple tiney holes in creases. Document is pale blue with decorative margins, on the front is a 50cent IRS conveyance stamp, and on back is a 5cent IRS stamp, both with image of Geo. Washington & ink dale. Document witnessed by John W. Smith and Mary E. Smith. Reverse notes indicate that Cobb paid off the mortgage on April 7, 1865. Printed at The Herald Office, Tecumseh, Mich.
