Includes a section of “Anecdotes and Incidents of Travel” with titles including “When Will People Have Common-Sense?” (a woman kills a man in a duel then “throws herself frantically upon the corpse” and kisses him until he comes back alive and then they get engaged?) and “A Second Daniel” (a woman files for divorce on the grounds that her husband is a “confounded fool”, the judge would not admit the plea because every man getting married would be liable to the same imputation). Nice ad for Tiffany and Co. on page 17.
