Frontis engraving; title page and last page vignettes, 14 x 9", full old paneled calf with newer (but still old) gilt-lettered spine, 506pp + "The Contents", covers rubbed and lightly abraded in a couple spots, outer hinges starting, former owner's ink name (and date) on front fly, old bookseller label inside front cover, old waterstain to most of the pages (not too obtrusive after the prelims), first few pp a little edge-chipped, frontis creased, but still a nice, impressive volume. This is a large, heavy book that will require additional shipping if purchased online.
