A CHRISTMAS CAROL in the third issue ("1843" but "Stave One"), HE BATTLE OF LIFE has the fourth state illus. title page (cupid holding a scroll, no imprint), but the other three are FIRST EDITIONS, FIRST STATES. Lovely set in need of a little TLC.
