72 colored engravings plus title page, 14.5 x 10.5", 1/2 dark blue leather with gilt ruled raised bands and gilt lettering, blue cloth, marbled page edges, unpaginated. The full page engravings come with two descriptions, one in English and one in French. Covers soiled and spotted, spine sunned, leather has light scuffing, marbled edges faded, front inner hinge cracked, plates 6 and 7 including descriptions are detached, plate 14 is bound in between engravings 12 and 13 and lacks descriptions, the French description for plate 70 is for plate 69 else very good condition. There are two plates each for numbers 5 and 20 but none are duplicates. Colors bright and sharp. SCARCE. First published 1803. Extra postage required.
