Original General Motors Story Boards for "Franchised Chevrolet Dealers" and for the Pontiac Bonneville

General Motors: np, (1969). Paperback. Very Good. Item #22-6246

There are 37 storyboards, 11 x 9", all have various pencil numbers (part of a larger series at one time?), one set of four was created by pasting pieces to the board to show a salesman selling a car, some of the pieces fell off and were saved (not sure if complete) else all are in very good condition. There are negatives (including a Bonneville), one for snow removal equipment, a still from a Spencer Tracy movie in which a photo image replaces one of the actors, GM employee named "Clark", the rest deal with customer relations/salesmanship. There is a group of 26 storyboards for "Franchised Chevrolet Dealers" where the characters are shown wearing togas (resembles the work of cartoonist Jay Ward) and the cars are chariots. Colors bright and sharp. Stored in a nondescript torn tan envelope box with a slight musty odor. A total of 27 items sold as a lot. Attractive, fun. SCARCE.
