ORIGINAL PHOTO PORTRAIT OF ALBERT SCHWEITZER BY YOUSUF KARSH

Ottawa, nd. Paperback. Very Good. Item #22-4860

13 x 10" black and white photo matted to 14 x 11", and framed to 15 x 11.5", nice condition, taped to mat with masking tape, mat is toned but from what we can see, the photo is pristine. Examined out of frame: verso of photo is inkstamped "No ___ Karsh, Ottawa" with an ink "7" written in. Photo shows a close-up of Schweitzer in a pensive pose: a photo often reproduced in Karsh monographs. Under the photo is SIGNED "c. Y KARSH OTTAWA". We will remove the photo from the frame to ship (the frame is an old, cheap wooden frame anyway).

Price: $4,250.00
