17.2 x 15 cm (7 x 4.5"), later gilt-lettered and embossed polished calf, a-RR4, covers rubbed (especially spine), hinges starting, extremities bumped and lightly chipped, some finger soiling, some small edge repairs, a few pp near center with water stains in lower margin, pencil note says it's missing a signature at end, missing colophon and title page, but overall a nice and bright Holy Bible in Latin, with two columns of 56 lines each, with eight line woodcut decorative initials. Front cover says "Circa 1498"; the closest match is the 1496 Britanicus Vulgate Bible (Hain 3119, Goff B-599) which was a reprinting of the 1492 Octavo Britanicus edition.
