"My Memory Book" [scrapbook owned by an anonymous University of Michigan student early/mid 1920s]

79 mounted photos (some loose), oblong 11 x 16", string-tied cloth album with gilt UofM logo on front cover, unpaginated, covers quite rubbed and soiled, extremities bumped and fraying, bottom of spine torn, intro pages toned and lightly stained along bottom margin; photos still good. Contains 2.25 pages of "Friends of Mine" with names, addresses, birthdays, etc.; with 32 snapshots of people (friends, relatives, himself?, college baseball players), some 20 professional photos of campus, UofM stadium, a 1920 Tug-Of-War contest, one photo of a battleship (USS South Carolina), some cannons, eight photos of "Fort Monroe" (one showing a dirigible), several of Washington, DC, etc.; also with three dance cards from UofM ROTC dances (1923 and two are 1925). Possible identification: In "Friends of Mine" there are notes "Here's looking at you 'Em" and "Here's to a son of Mrs. Perkins". There is a young man featured a lot in the photos, most likely "Em" who is shown washing a car with a Buffalo (NY) license plate and standing in front of Rich's Ice Cream Sign (also Buffalo, NY).
